An important role in the social-economic development of the city is played by machine-building complexes that includes:

Ivanovo heavy machinery plant works in the field of machine-tools construction. The plant produces: heavy machining centres, high-speed machining centres, autonomous movable rotary tables, multi-purpose boring machines, universal milling machines, universal woodworking centres etc.

Vehicles and equipment production is represented by PJSC “Avtokran” – a factory, producing automobile cranes, cranes on special automobile type chassis and rotary supports, and JSC “Aircraft repair plant No.308”, repairing more than 11 types of aircrafts as well as ground communication and radio-technical support of flights facilities of 26 types.

LLC Ivanovo illumination engineering production factory “Electro” works in the field of lighting equipment production. This enterprise manufactures lamps of various modifications, including LED lights. Over the years of the enterprise’s work it has gained much experience in employing visually impaired people.

LLC “Neurosoft” develops and produces medical equipment for neurophysiology and functional diagnostics.
